- Corona-virus has impacted me in a negative way. I have to always be prepared to have nothing. My mom works her butt off just get enough money for it to last a couple weeks . This pandemic has causes me migraines and mentally breakdowns, my mom was worried sometimes would stay home just to make sure I’m calm and relaxed.
- I’m tire some from reading books and trying to have hope that this virus would just push through and calm down. I’m upset that I can’t do more to get the virus stabled and isolated.
- In the morning, my mom usually be at work and I would start cooking for my siblings. Around 11’o clock I would start on any assignment that is due and would finish most ahead of time just in case I’m not able to get to it later. I would normally fell to sleep at 2. I would start doing my chores at 3 and my mom would start cooking. My siblings would ask for any help with their online class and work that has to do.
- I’m upset that school was closing because that means we would have more online classes and I don’t like them. The reason why I dislike online class is because I don’t really learn that way and my mom don’t have internet so when I do get internet I have to do as much as I can.
- The weakness that corona-virus exposed is it’s already challenging to cope with this crisis for people who have secure jobs, stable housing, and financial cushions for difficult times. The strength is that the government can see what the main problems that we have as citizens and can correct them for future virus or disease.
- I learned that life will always be short and it best to be in class learning than at home. We can apply to this lesson by taking your classwork seriously and be grateful for things you can do because one day you will be stuck at home feeling hopeless.
- I have been making sure my siblings have done their assignment and is doing well. I have to stay calm so my sister and brother still have hope.
- The role of the federal government in helping to guide and facilitate the development of crisis standards of care was highly debated at the workshops. They saw a range of ways that federal or national leadership could facilitate the development of fair and consistent crisis standards of care policies and protocols, and could help reduce unnecessary duplication of effort.
- A ethical issue that this pandemic raise is people not taking it seriously and still partying. Been good citizen would mean following the orders and tell everyone you know to social distance and watch the news more often.
- Some historical parallel that the 1918 flu pandemic and the plague have in common is that they had people not really think of it as a serious matter. This teach us that we should isolate ourselves and take things serious.
- The cause and effect of this pandemic is we slows down the spread of the virus but the effect cause economic damage through multiple channels, including short-term fiscal shocks and longer-term negative shocks to economic growth. Future effect the I predict that would happen is we will still have online classes and might have summer school for those that haven’t been doing any work.
- Taking care of yourself, your friends, and your family can help you cope with the stress of the pandemic. Helping others cope with their stress can also make your community stronger.
